I took these shots one night when we had a storm move through, the colors and textures of the sky was awesome! If you click on the link at the bottom of this page and view this as a slideshow you will appreciate this so much more! It's times like these that God's beauty brings you to your knees! A humbling moment in time when one feels so small in such a huge wonderous world! Enjoy!
Man I sure miss Iowa skies. My favorite thing was to sit in the barn in the rain and watch the storms come from Boone and swoop over Stratford. I miss the smell of wet hay and the green, green grass.
Mark loves watching storms come too but there is one problem....sitting "IN" the barn is one thing but sitting "ON TOP" of the barn is another. Now that he has herrington rods in his back from his back surgery 22 years ago he is a human lightning rod!!!!!!!!!!!! Well again Ms Ellie we have the love of the smell of fresh cut hay in common. I love the smell of sweaty horses and lilacs too....barn smells are the best! You can take the girl out of the country but they will NEVER.... and I mean NEVER take the country out of the girl!
Boy are we ever missing out by being in town. These pictures tell it all. And your animal pictures too.Not lucky to be in town, but at least we have a nice roof over our heads, we need to come visit. Nice job on these photos. Love you, wlson
